This vehicle has a none standard vin because it was intended for the European market.
We bought this lovely Landrover Defender Station wagon from a local gentleman who had owned it for the past 5 years. He purchased it from a Titled ( Sir ) private estate owner.
They owned the vehicle for 18 years having bought it when it was 6 years old to use on their private estate.
It was very well cared for and has had considerable money spent on its upkeep in recent years.
We have completely refreshed it with a respectable new paint job and a thorough valet.
The head lining has been reupholstered.The whole interior is original and in very good condition for its age with a couple of small splits in the backing panel of the rear seat. ( All the cloth upholstery is fine ).
The underside was under-sealed some years ago and is absolutely rust free. It’s in very good condition.
It is the desirable 9 seater V8 Petrol 9 seater 110 County. Manual gearbox .( Certainly the the to have)
Mechanically all good with a very healthy engine having spent most of its life on the private estate.
So it’s 73500 miles is a genuine low mileage for its age.
Just had Engine oil, filter, plugs and distributor cap replaced.
It passed its MOT with nothing to be done and has not been used since.
We took the bull bars off when it was painted and I think it looks better without them but of course they go with the vehicle if you want them along with a full- length square tubular roof rack.
