This is NOT a reproduced copy, many of which you can find for sale online for . This is an original, stated 2nd draft script of The Godfather Part 2, dated Sept 24, 1973 that is SIGNED (autographed) by its 2 stars, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino.
I was a phone bidder and purchased this script
on October 12, 1997 at Butterfield & Butterfield Entertainment Memorabilia auction #6665 held in Los Angeles. (There was no internet/online bidding back then!) It was lot #2528 in that auction. I am also including the original auction catalog (see photos) and invoice I received/paid.
Minor soiling on cover as shown in photos. Minor age-toning of cover and pages. Spine has "GODFATHER II" written on it. See photos. No other writing. No rips or tears.
By all accounts, this movie is one of the best ever made, and it would be tough to argue against it being the best sequel ever made. Adding the signatures of 2 of the best actors of our time makes this a special piece of movie memorabilia.
There are plenty of reproductions of this script available, some of which purport to be an original or have original signatures. Be careful when researching/buying.
