This special script was one of a small number of specially made copies given to members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for Golden Globes Awards consideration, with just a few signed by Scorsese and Zaillian. There are only about 90 members of the association. The Irishman stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, and Anna Paquin and tells the story of an aging hitman (De Niro) as he recalls his time with the mob and his complex relationship with Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino) during the 1950s - 70s. The film received 10 Oscar nominations, including Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Pacino and Pesci). It was also nominated for 5 Golden Globes: Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (Pacino and Pesci).
