Vintage Chinese PorcelainTea Set with Two Cups in Original Fabric Lined Wicker Basket.
These traditional Chinese tea sets were used as wedding gifts, and would make an absolutely perfect wedding gift today for the rightcouple.
The teapot measures about 7 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter. The tea cupsare 2” x 2”. The teapot has a wrapped wicker / rattan handle. The woven wickerbasket is finely woven with a metal clasp and a heart shaped cut out. TheBasket is 11 inches long, 9 inches wide -It is an oblong, 8 inches high withtwo metal handles.
The interior of the basket is padded with a beautiful red floral fabricfeaturing exotic flowers and birds. The liner is hand-stitched around theperimeter. The tea set and cups fit inside perfectly and the clasp functionsperfectly. The handles are sturdy and you can carry this around anywhere.
This set has never been used and is in new condition.
